| Announcement: Robbie Williams Visits Pleasure Beach |

After an absence of 2 years, King of Pop, Robbie Williams made a long-awaited return to England on Thursday and his first port of call was Pleasure Beach, Blackpool!
This is the first time that Robbie has brought his American girlfriend, actress, Ayda Field, to the North West of England and he was delighted that he was able to treat her to a day at his favourite childhood haunt, Pleasure Beach, Blackpool.
Having known Managing Director of Pleasure Beach, Amanda Thompson for many years, Robbie was able to have the complete run of the park and it was opened especially for him.
This isn’t the first time Robbie has been treated to private access of Britain’s favourite tourist attraction, and was one of the first places that he wanted to visit with Ayda. He made sure his visit was a true family occasion by bringing along his mum, nephew Freddy, best friend Jonathon Wilkes and his wife Nikki.
He lovingly showed Ayda around all of the fantastic rides and attractions, enjoying access to thrilling rides such as the suspended, looping coaster, Infusion, the traditional Flying Machines and Europe’s tallest, fastest rollercoaster, the Pepsi Max Big One, which he rode an incredible 4 times, and insisted it was “still the best in the world!”
The visit was kept top secret and staff were thrilled when they realised that such an important guest was visiting. Pleasure Beach ride operators were amazed by how down to earth and friendly he was, with one saying, “Robbie was great! He made sure he took time out to say thanks to us all.”
After getting soaking wet on the mythical fire and ice ride of Valhalla, Robbie kept warm by cuddling up to Ayda, saying that this wonderful family trip to Pleasure Beach, Blackpool had been one of the top 10 days in his life.

Hey all,
Opening date is confirmed for 2009;
14th February for FUN Weekends!
With the park opening on valentines day, I'd expect it to be very busy.
Roll on Feb 14th!!
